Alleged Drug Trafficking In Port Broughton

A 71-year-old man has been arrested after police allegedly found more than 12kgs of cannabis at his Port Broughton home.

Port Broughton and Crystal Brook Police attended the Mid-North property late last week, where they allegedly located 12.4kgs of dried cannabis concealed in sheds, a trailer and various vehicles around the property.

The man was arrested and charged with trafficking a commercial quantity of cannabis, and was bailed to appear in the Port Pirie Magistrates Court on May 31.
